Is there a dress code?
Neat casual. No hoodies, thongs, beachwear or Ugg boots. No scooters or skateboards. No smoking or vaping inside the venue.
Do I need ID?
ABC is a fully licensed venue. If you look under 25 you may be asked for an evidence of age document: a Proof of Age card, an Australian driver’s licence (any state), a Victorian Learner’s Permit, a Keypass or KeyPass Digital ID, an Australian or foreign passport, or a Victorian Digital Driver’s Licence. A New Zealand driver’s licence is not accepted (a NZ passport is).
How do I book?
Walk-ins are welcome. For a table, book on OpenTable. For 30 or more guests, send a function enquiry.
What are your opening hours?
Open every day from 12pm: till 11pm Sun–Wed, midnight Thursday and 1am Friday & Saturday. Full hours.
Where are you?
ABC is on Level 3 of Melbourne Central. Get in from inside the centre, or take the street-level escalators next to Starbucks, which stay open until ABC closes. Find us.
I lost something. What do I do?
All lost property is handled at the venue. Pop in during opening hours and speak with our team, or use our lost property form.
Where can I park?
Melbourne Central car park, underneath the centre. Parking is $18 per hour, but customers who spend at our venue can validate their parking ticket and receive 50% off their parking fee.
Do you have gluten-free and vegetarian food?
Yes. GF, vegetarian and vegan options are marked on the menu, and all our meats are certified halal. See the menu.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Lifts in Melbourne Central go up to Level 3.
How many people can you fit?
Private rooms and areas suit groups from intimate birthdays to large corporate functions. Functions.
Can I buy gift cards online?
No. ABC gift cards ($50, $100 or $200) are sold in venue only, at Level 3, Melbourne Central. We don’t sell them online. Gift cards.
